Riding space seems to be a scarcity these days because of commercial farming, mining and the closure of our beaches. With the increasing interest in outdoor and adventure sports this creates a tense situation. Our intention at Heatonville Adventure Park is to allow the natural bush to spread while using part of the overgrown and fallow sugarcane fields as bike tracks. The intended purpose of our tracks is for outdoor adventure and enjoyment of the environment while at the same time minimizing the impact of the bikes by restricting the area of access to already disturbed land previously used for agriculture.
Riding kit is to be worn at all time. No helmet - No ride.
Senior Tracks
Moto X Track
This nearly 2km motocross track set in the natural hills, is a chilled track, nothing too brutal, few nice table tops, very forgiving which makes for such great practice and gives you the opportunity to really grow your skills, or just have a bit of fun.
Enduro Loop
For those who enjoy a bit of bush riding there is a 25km marked outride.There is a bit of everything on this ride for the experienced professionals and well for the whole family of course... there are loose rocks, technical sections with a few hill climbs and steep descents, very nice to practice for Harescramble, quite a varied terrain with tight and twisty to nice fast sweeping corners. The views are amazing on this ride.
Junior Tracks
Moto X Track
This is such an awesome track we have to keep kicking the big boys off... everyone loves it! It is about a km long with jumps, table tops and a few good corners. Great for the kids to gain their confidence and work on their riding skills.
Enduro Loop
This is about a km or two with lots of off chamber corners and nothing too testing for the ones who are willing to venture... Parents can view this out ride from the moto x track so your child is never out of sight or you can ride this with them.
Training
Riding training and schools can be arranged on request.
Opening rates
All prices allow whole day use of facilities and picnic areas.
- R50 Allows you unlimited access to all the set tracks allocated to senior & junior riders on bikes and quads.
- R10 For non riders to enter the park while friends and family make use of activities offered.
Fees are used for maintenance of the lovely facilities and proceeds go towards our alien plant eradication and conservation of our environment.
