Enjoy another good day in Zululand was what this event arranged by ZBA racing at Heatonville Adventure Park was all about. The weather was great, the support was excellent with 132 entries, the best this year and many other spectators who came to watch and enjoy the day.
Peter was very happy, as the recession of 2009 has been evident in his recent events. Thanks was given to the following people:
- Main sponsor for the event Auto Wheel and Tyre - Brendan Miller for the great prizes.
- BMW Motorrad Empangeni - for the BMWG450X piloted by Peter ZBA racing.
- Mounties Medical Services - for medical attendance, only one grazed arm, well done to the riders for keeping it safe.
- Heatonville Adventure Park - for hosting the event, setting all the tracks and marking it, catering, chalets and camping provided.
Empangeni Cane Rat 300 Classic held on the last weekend in October was hosted by Heatonville Adventure Park who organized this two day event, Dominic worked hard at setting out and marking the track, while the rest of the family and friends did the catering. A special thank you to Brett and Reoma who are always there to help. With people from out of town using the camping and chalet facilities provided and great support from the locals this event was a great success and enjoyed by everyone.

With the aim of promoting harmony between bikers and the public while preserving the privilege to enjoy the natural surroundings of our country, Dominic and Sharon Souchon have developed an adventure park suitable for the whole family on their farm in Heatonville.
After the recent rains with everything looking lush and green, the Heatonville Adventure Park had their official opening this weekend with riders as young as five years old and experienced professionals coming out to enjoy the good weather. Riders, with full riding kit worn at all times, took to the well marked tracks. This is an awesome place to spend a weekend or even just a day outdoors. There is nearly 2km of motorcross track set in the natural hills on the farm which gives you the opportunity to enhance your riding skills. There is also a kiddies track and for those who want a bit of bush riding, there is a 25km marked outride.
